Speedcorner.net – Davide Tardozzi, Ducati MotoGP team manager, has stated that Ducati intends to extend the contract of both drivers, Andrea Doizioso and Jorge Lorenzo for the 2019-2020 season.
Dovizioso made an impressive appearance in the opening race at Qatar’s Losail circuit last week. Obviously that’s a great start to the way forward. While Lorenzo should be DNF due to front brake problems that do not work properly.
“Whatever happens, we keep saying that we want to keep renewing the contract with both of our drivers.” Ucap Tardozzi.
It looks like Ducati still has confidence in Jorge Lorenzo, although his performance over at Ducati is not so brilliant than his counterpart, Andrea Dovizioso. Yep, Ducati still believe that Lorenzo is a champion racer, in other words Ducati still provide an opportunity for him, as well as hope Lorenzo will perform as a champion in the future. So maybe that’s the reason Ducati still extend contacts Jorge Lorenzo and also Andrea Dovizioso.
“We are happy with both of our drivers, and we will see what happens in the future For now we are not discussing anything with them, we are all fine and we still want to put Jorge in a position that is suitable for him. Ucap Tardozzi.
