The Spaniard who joined ‘Angel Nieto Team’, Alvaro Bautista will replace Jorge Lorenzo at the Australian MotoGP next week.
Bautista will use a factory Ducati bike. This was confirmed by the ‘Angel Nieto Team’ team via their Twitter account and which was also retweeted by the official MotoGP account.
Lorenzo could not participate in the Australian MotoGP due to injury.
Next season Bautista will move to WSBK with the Aruba.it Racing team. This will be an extraordinary experience for him before leaving MotoGP.
“Thank you to ‘Angel Nieto Team’ and all the teams that have given me the way to be able to drive a factory-version Ducati bike in Australia.”
“I also want to thank Ducati for giving me the opportunity to work with them in the box.” Said Bautista.
