Crutchlow: Honda must be neutral in developing RC213V bikes – LCR Honda racer Cal Crutchlow is currently in sixth position in the 2018 MotoGP standings with the same points as Danilo Petrucci with 119 points to compete to become the best satellite rider. Johann Zarco followed with 112 points in eighth place.

He is currently in a bad mood because the much needed carbon Swingarm is not yet available in his garage. While Dani Pedrosa already has it, even though next season he has retired.

And Marc Marquez is the first driver to have a carbon swingarm from Honda. That’s very reasonable, because in the last few years the developing of RC213V focused on Maruqez, especially to pursue a fifth title this season.

This season Crutchlow only won in Argentina and one podium at Misano.

Crutchlow said that Honda should be more neutral in developing bike. Because if Honda only focuses on Marquez there will be side effects in the future.

“If Marquez decides to leave in the next two years, his successor will not have the possibility to succeed like Marquez despite using the same bike. Therefore Honda must be neutral in building bike for Honda riders” said Crutchlow as reported by Corsedimoto.
