Speedcorner.net – 47-year-old legend racer from Australia, Troy Corser reportedly will take part in the MotoE World Cup race next season.
Reportedly Troy Corser is doing some negotiations with the teams that take part in MotoE next season. Obviously this is a surprise, we as two-wheeled fans are very enthusiastic waiting for him to race again.
Troy Corser was the first Australian driver to win the WSBK world championship in 1996 and 2005. The last race in Superbike was in 2011 at Portimao.
After eight years of retirement. Corser intend to take part in MotoE racing next season. And reportedly Corser has also been contacted by Dorna and IRTA at Aragon regarding this matter.
MotoE racing will be followed by 12 teams from 18 targeted. The teams are Tech3, LCR, Pramac Racing, Avintia Esponsorama Racing, Gresini Racing, Ángel Nieto, Petronas Sprinta, Marc VDS, Ajo Motorsport, Pons Racing, Dynavolt Intact GP dan SIC58 Squadra Corse.
The MotoE test will begin November 23-25 2018 and March 13-15 and April 23-25 2019 with the main sponsors Enel and Energica. For tires, it is confirmed to use Michelin and technical supporters namely Dell’Orto, Regina, Brembo, Marchesini and Öhlins.
